Baptism Gifts... A Challenge... and a Fun Blog Candy Chance

Hello everyone!  Sorry I was gone from the blog world last week I was busy getting the house ready for my baby girls baptism ( which went beautifully and we all had a great time! ).  So thank you for sticking around and I hope you like tonights post!  Here are the frames I made for the Godmother and Godfather of little Maddie to thank them...

And this is a card I made for the Cooking with Cricut Challenge #31 Memorial Day Themed...

First, thank you to all of those who are fighting, have fought, and will be fighting for us... your bravery is not forgotten!  Now, how I made this card :  I used the stars paper from my scrap pile, the blue was basic cardstock decorated with the Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page,  the stars were cut using the Hannah Montana Cartridge then decked out with stickles in white and red, the sentiment came from The Paper Studio stamped in Red Stampin' Up Ink, finally the red ribbon came from my stash!

Finally I wanted to let you all know that RRR is having an amazing giveaway that you need to stop by and see... I love their work and their products so hurry over and look for yourself!

Also, please go check out the other amazing projects others have made at CWC, and thank you for stopping by!

MPS Challenge #12

Hello for one final post today, whew!  Challenge #12 was to make a LO or card with a Kid's Theme, so I used this as another chance to make an adjacent LO to one I had made a while ago, I love it I'm getting caught up on my scrapbooking and getting to participate in these awesome challenges!  Thanks again to My Pink Stamper and her awesome staff for putting this all together, and go check them out here!

For this page I used cars scrap paper that was from the first scrapbook page I had made a while ago (sorry i can't remember who makes it right now!).  I then double matted my pictures with green, orange, and yellow basic cardstock.  I then used stickers from Creative Memories and Crayola.

Thank you for seeing all of my posts, I know it was alot and sorry to have flooded you all with them, but I appreciate your time and any comments you might have!
As always Happy Crafting!

MPS National Scrapbook Challenge #9

Here is another Challenge entry for My Pink Stamper... I def. had to do challenge #9: use glitz, glam and glitter, because duh it's totally me!  I love all of the above, and many a person can vouch for that, hehehe! So here is my entry:

I used the DCWV All About Girls paper pack.  I cut the polka dot paper using the Calligraphy Cartridge, and the Shoe using the Tie the Knot Cartridge.  I then stamped with MPS Pink-alicious stamp set for the sentiments.  I added pop dots to the shoe as well as, I-rock bling, and stickles to the the embellishment on the shoe.  I added I - Rock bling to the sentiments and distressed them with brown Stampin' Up! ink!  I absolutely love this card and can't wait to give it to the person I had in mind when I made it for this challenge!  Thanks for looking!

MPS Challenge #8

If you saw my earlier post from Challenge #5 I explained why I skipped some challenges and why I made what I made for each challenge, and without further ado here is my Challenge entry for #5 : Make A Summer Themed Project - in which I made a Thank you Card with a Summer theme!

I used my Sizzix Texture Boutique and Sizzix Embossing plate that came with my Boutique on the yellow paper.  I then went over it lightly with white chalk ink.  I used the Base Camp Cartridge to cut out the Thank You tag and Thank You Sentiment with the flower.  I added some white thin ribbon from my stash  on either side of the tag.  It's a very simple and cheery looking Thank You Card.

Thanks for looking!

MPS Challenge # 7

This Challenge ( to make a scrapbook page ) was super easy and worked great for me, because I could use it to make an adjacent page to the first Challenge.

I used the same cupcake cut as I did in Challenge #1, with the Creat a Critter Cartridge, decorated with I-Rock Bling and the stickles.  The paper and stickers come from the Target Dollar section.

Thanks again for looking at stop over at My Pink Stamper's website for more creative fun!

MPS Challenge #5

Hello again!  I have found that writing all of the projects that I completed at one time was much easier than to complete a challenge write about it and then do another one, so for time saving sake you will probably see that you have been bombarded with a ton of different projects at one time, sorry but thanks for still looking!!!  I am also excited that I have been able to make these challenges work for me, by creating cards/ LO's that I needed to get done for specific reasons and I used the challenges as my guidelines so woo hoo for hitting two birds with one stone!  Remember to go look a the thousands of entries over at My Pink Stamper!!!

I also wanted to let you know that I have skipped some challenges mainly because I know I don't have enough time to complete them all ( even though I wish I could! ) in order to reach the deadline... but I will use these challenges as guidelines for future projects!

Here is Challenge #5 : Any 3D item or use a 3D item on a scrapbook page or card...

I made this as the protege for my upcoming Baptismal Invitations that I needed to make!  The cross was cut using the Easter Seasonal Cartridge, and the butterfly ( which is my 3D item ) was cut using the Storybook Cartridge.  I stamped the swirly design with embossing ink and embossed it in silver.  I then added the pearl at the bottom from JoAnn's Dollar section.

Thanks for looking!

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #1

Hello everyone!  For those of you who didn't know Saturday was National Scrapbook Day so there were many challenges and fun things planned for us to participate in.  Since I was out of town Saturday I didn't think I would get to participate, but My Pink Stamper left her challenges open until Monday to enter!  Woo Hoo!  So make sure you stop by to see all of the amazing work others have done, there is so much inspiration there it's rediculous!  I don't know how many challenges I'll be able to complete in time, but I plan on picking and choosing some to do!  Here is the first one I have made for Challenge #1 : Anything Cupcake!

I used this challenge as a great opportunity to finally scrapbook my Valentine's pictures! woo hoo!  I used the Create a Critter Cartridge to make the cupcakes and I decorated them with Stampin' Up! ink in pink, paper from Target's Dollar section, red ribbon from my stash, stickles, and some I-Rock bling!  The title was cut using Alphabalicious ( love this font for kid pages! ).  Stickers were also from Target's Dollar Section, and the photo was mated with EK success heart corner punch and Creative Memories round corner punch.  There you have it... now off to make more projects for more challenges!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hello and Happy Mother's Day to all of you wonderful Mother's out there!  This is just a short post of the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day, and all of the challenges I'm entering it into...
But first I want to say how thankful I am everyday for getting to be a mommy to two beautiful children... It's true when they say that having a child is like walking around with your heart out of your chest for the rest of your life... Love you Maddie and Aiden!!!

Now onto my card:

The paper is from my stash called " I do."  The foral stamp was one I found in my stash and I used a mixture of my Stampin' Up! markers and watercolor pencils to color it in.  I then went over the roses with my glossy accents for more dimention.  The paper flowers were a first for me to handmake... I found the video through another blog on how to make these (super easy!), but I can't remember who's blog sorry!!!  I used small dots of glossy accent on the flowers to look like dew drops.  The green ribbon is from Stampin' Up! and the purple is just from my stash.

I am entering this card into several challenges, so be sure to check out their sites too!!!

Creative Sisters Challenge #7 - May Flowers
FCC Challenge Me Monday #58 - Flower Shower
My Craft Spot Monday Challenge #6 - We Love You Mom

Thank you looking and Happy Mother's Day again!!!

Thinking of You Card and Challenge Entry!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my second post of the day!  I saw a sketch challenge over at KinderStampO that I loved, so I knew it would work perfect for a card I needed to make too!

I used the DCWV Linen stack ( which I am loving right now! ) for the paper as well as some plain blue from my stash.  I ran the middle blue paper through my Sizzix Texture Boutique with the Divine Swirls A2 Embossing Folder.  The Butterflies were cut using the Storybook Cartridge.  The corners were rounded with my Creative Memories Corner Punch.  The Sentiment comes from The Paper Studio mix and match word stamp set.  Finally, my bling is from Jolee's Iron On Bling put on with my I-Rock Tool!

I am entering this into the KinderStampO Sketch Challenge, so please head there and see what others have created too!

Birthday Card Share and Giveaway Info.

Hello everyone!  It has been a busy week with brian away most of the week, and it was my first time having two kids all by myself, so needless to say I didn't get much crafting done this week... but I do have a quick post of a birthday card I just made for my Dad's Birthday...

I used the Create a Critter Cartridge for the Alligator, my white gel pen for some "stiched on" clouds and on the alligator's back and tummy. I really tried a lot of new things for the first time with this card...  I used bakers twine for the first time, my new embossing folder with the circles on it ( sorry specific name is escaping my mind right now! ), and I used swirl stamps up by the sentiment.  The sentiment comes from MPS, and of course there are stickles on the Aligator and the clouds behind it.  The inside just said " To one Gator-ific Grandpa".

Now in other news there is an awesome giveaway going on at Crafting With Cristina that you just have to go check out, you'll be happy you did!  Have a great night!
Happy Crafting!
