Stamps: Verve (sentiment) SweetStamps.com (stripes)
Ink: PTI and Versamark
White Embossing Powder: SweetStamps.com
Stars: Darcie's
Washi Tape
Glossy Accents

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you are having a nice week too!

For Avery Elle...

Happy Memorial Day everyone and especially to those who serve our country and their families.... THANK YOU for your sacrifices!!!  I am sharing a card today using my first Avery Elle stamp set, yay!!!  I was so excited to finally be able to play along with the I heart Avery Elle Challenges and I couldn't miss my chance, so here is the challenge and what I made:

I used the new Avery Elle Handwritten Notes for my sentiment and I can not tell you enough how much I love these and how crisply they stamp!  Anywho, I chose to emboss my sentiment in a silver rather than the very popular gold because I felt like silver might be having it's feelings hurts each time it watches me grab my gold hehehe!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous rest of your holiday!

Flip Flop Card Technique Challenge

Hello and thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today!  I am popping in to share this months technique challenge at SweetStamps.com Blog which is flip flop cards!  This was something new for me to do too, but I found it was quite easy to make using a die, rather than cutting it out.

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Websters Pages
Stamps: SweetStamp.com
Dies: SweetStamps.com and Cheery Lynn
Ink: Watermark
Detailed Embossing Powder: SweetStamps.com

By placing a strip of two thick chipboard pieces over the die before placing the paper I wanted to cut made them act like a buffer to stop the machine at that spot, you then reverse your cutting and put it back in on the other side cutting just to the buffer... when you pull it out you just use these two spots to fold and viola!  Hope to see your entries in the challenge!!!

I just knew I had to play along because after all I love all things that sparkle or shine... seriously, I think I might have been a raccoon in another life.  Anywho, I busted out my glue pen, MS glitter and Lawn Fawn stamps and made this little gem...

Sequins
Glossy Accents

Thanks for stopping by and I hope this card has added a little shine in your day (it's added some to my dinning room floor that's for sure hehehe)!

Falling For You... NSD challenges

Hi!  I wasn't home the other day to participate in the actual national scrapbook day parties, but I am able to play along now and probably will continue to play all week!  I'm so thankful that there is always enough time to enjoy the festivities... I also used this sketch by Rochelle Spears for inspiration:

Stickers: Authentique
Embossing Powder: SweetStamp Shop.com

PTI MIM challenge#114 Blown Ink

Hi and TGIF!!! YAY!!!!  I am happy to share this fun card that I made based on the newest Make it Monday Challenge at PTI.  I loved this technique of literally blowing ink with a straw... it was  a little nerve wrecking to have almost no control of where the ink was going, but kind of fun to watch it all unfold.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: PTI
Ink: PTI and Watermark
Embossing Powder: Zing
Mister Huey's Spray Ink: SC
Perfect Pearls Mist: Ranger
Stickles: Ranger

You should give this technique a try, if for nothing else it is fun to be the mess maker every now and then instead always having to clean it up hehehe!  Have a fabulous weekend, and for all of those who are going to be celebrating NSD have a super scrappy one!  I'm hoping to get to play along with something on Sunday!

Since this is just a happy card to send someone I'm also entering it into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Happy Mail!
