Now it's time to share my super Clean and Simple Card with you using the Prehistoric Stamp Set... I adore all of the sentiments in this set and they are perfect for mixing and matching with lots of sets!

I stamped the rock images on separate cardstock with the sentiments inside of them.  I then colored and fussy cut them.  I adhered them with foam adhesive and stamped smaller rock images on the sides.  Finally I stamped my sentiment and heart image in red and colored.  For a finishing touch I added one scoreline along the bottom of the card and two up top.

Thanks for visiting and happy Hopping!
PS - I have two personal giveaways going on right now too (including two TAWS stamp sets), so come back when you are done hoping to check them out!

Sneaky Peeky Day #3 at TAWS!!!

Hello, hello!  Happy Friday and sneaky peeky day for The Alley Way Stamps!!! Double woo hoo!!!  Today I have the privilege to show you a bit of Stomper Stamp Set, which has all kinds of cuteness and some pretty awesome sentiments too!  Make sure you stop by The Alley Way Stamps Blog to check out more sneaky peeks of this awesome set!

My background was actually created from left over ink on my craft mat from an earlier project, yay!  I simply pressed my watercolor paper into it and soaked it up in this tie dye effect.  My little dino was stamped and watercolored with distress markers and a waterbrush. I did the same thing with the speech bubble from the KA-POW stamp set.  I raised them with foam adhesive and then I added in some gold thread.

I am entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes!
and into the Work it Wednesday: Stamp It Challenge

Bubble Fun Layout

Hello and Happy Wednesday!  I LOVE the layout I'm sharing with you today... it was so fun to create, and just came together on it's own... and I just love when that happens!  Most of the products I have used came from a kit I won through CliqueKits... so check them out!

See all of those fun circles?  I made those by removing the lids to my spray mists and drawing with the end of the nozzels!  So much fun!  The yellow was created with a paintbrush and yellow Mr. Huey!  This layout was based on two challenges as well...

GD... #2

An I'm back!  Now it's time to share my son's card that he has made for the Simon Says Stamp: Kids Challenge...

I have to say I was quite surprised at how excited he was to do this, because he isn't normally one to jump at doing arts and crafts, but he was really into this.  He explained everything he was doing and why... for example the arrow is pointing at the happy acorn head because the deer is in love with the acorn.  He has added clouds and the sun with glitter, and he drew in his grass and leaves...

This just makes my heart happy and I'm sure you'll see more of their works on my blog soon!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I know he would love to hear your comments!

Guest Designers.... My Kids!

Hello!  Today I am so happy to report that I have two projects going up made by my kids!!! yay!!! I love how Simon Says Stamps always makes things so family friendly... and when I mentioned to my two little monkeys that there was a kid challenge that involved them playing with some of my stamps, they were thrilled!

Up first I'm sharing my darling Madeline's card... She is 3 years old and loves crafting already, yay!!! (future partner in crime I say!)  And when she saw my Princess stamps that I used on her party invites last year she was so excited to get inky...

She did everything herself, and I have to say I was quite impressed with the clear stamping she did... not too many smudges!  Either way we had a blast doing this together, and when the glitter was brought out it was all hands on deck! hehehe!  Thanks for stopping by and if you have a moment to leave her some kind words I know it was tickle her pink!
Thanks!
