Now, onto the New Release Goodness!
For today's release party, I've chosen to work with the new Cake Day Stamp Set.  This is one of those sets that every stamper needs, because if you are like me you are always in need of new and fresh Birthday material. Not to mention this set is super cute!!!
I decided to create a layout using this set and I love how it turned out...

To create this layout I stamped the pennant banner across the middle of my cardstock, and colored it in.  I then went about layering my photos with various DCWV patterned papers from the Celebration Collection.  Then I stamped (and used a generation stamping) my title, "Happy Cake day" and subtitle, "and eat it too".  These sentiments could not have been more perfect for these photos!  Next I stamped a few balloon images.  Throw on a few embellishments and jounaling and bam! done! hehehe! ( I kind of felt Emerald Lagasse there for a moment!)

In other cute news check out this...

This crazy-cute Mini Set, Nessie, is FREE when you spend $40.00
or more during the month of January, 2015.

I have based my layout on the sketch from My Scraps and More Challenge #96 too!

Next you will be off to visit the amazing Marina... but if you just stumbled on my blog make sure to start at the beginning for your chance to win it all!!!

Have fun and Happy Crafting!!!

Water painting with Altenew

Hello!!! Happy Tuesday!  It has been a while since I was able to just play around and make a project for fun, so I'm excited that I had a chance last night to create and share with you today...

This card is based on the newest Altenew Challenge:

I love their challenges, as I am also a HUGE fan of their stamps!!!  So much detail and they give beautiful results every time!  Anywho, I did lots of water coloring on this card with spraymists as my "paint".  I wish my peach looked a little more peachy (that's def. a word), but I really like it, and once again it had me stepping out of my norm in color combos so that was fun too!

Supplies Used:
Ranger Watercolor cardstock
Spray Mists: Heidi Swapp and Mr. Huey
Stamps: (Sentiments and Quotes, Painted Flowers) Altenew
Ink: Versamark and Tuxedo Black
White Enamel Embossing Powder: SweetStamps.com
Glitter Cardstock: American Crafts
Enamel Hearts: Chickaniddy

I am also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hey Chickie! Outside and In...

Hello!  Today I have a super cute and fun little card to share using the new Chick Magnet Stamp Set...

And I couldn't leave this card looking like that, so I added this to the inside...

bwahahaha!  I crack myself up... some has to!  Anywho, I started this card by adhering to colored cardstocks together.  I then die cut my circle, and die cutted a fancy circle frame and adhered it all together.  Next I went and stamped the little worm images using the similar colored ink to the cardstock colors.  The little chick was stamped on separate cardstock adhered together and then cut out so the two sides would match up.  I did the same with the paper hat.  Last I stamped the sentiment through the window and viola!  I super cute and fun was to say hi!

I am adding this to the following challenge:
Simon Says Stamp: Monday Challenge Anything Goes

Tag #3

Ok so I really love the background to tag #3... this one was inspired by Day #4 created by the amazing Kelly Alvarez, eeekkk!!!  All for the 12 tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Challenge of course!  The background she created was amazing, and while I've re-created it on a smaller scale I love it!!!

Supplies:
Dies: Pretty Pink Posh (scalloped edge) MFT (tag)
Stamp: The Alley Way Stamps
Various Copics

I will def. have to make more of these!  And that's a wrap, woot woot!!!  Thanks if you took the time to visit me and see any of my tags tonight!

Tag #2

and we're back... ok tag #2 for the 12 tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Challenge is based on Day # 6 created by the talented Jean Manis...

Supplies Used:
Dies: Pretty Pink Posh (Edge Die) Lawn Fawn (tree)
Stamp: Winnie & Walter
Ink: PTI and Prima fluid Chalk Ink
Double Sided Adhesive Sheet
Foam Adhesive

I'll be back again! hehehe!

Dies: Spellbinders (snowflakes) and MFT (tags)
Spray Mist: Heidi Swapp
Embossing Powder: Piccolo and Globegraft

I Love You Latte

Hello! yay!  I had a moment to play along with the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop that is currently going on!!!  I am also excited to share this card as I have permission to share a sneak peek at a new coffee stamp set that has yet to be released by V's Sweet Ideas! WOOT WOOT!

Let's get on with it, shall we?

Isn't it fun and super cute?!  This set is due to release very soon so make sure you like V's Sweet Ideas on Facebook and or check out her store for release dates!  Anywho, to create this card I started by Stamping and heat embossing the cups repeatedly in fine white embossing powder.  I then went from edge inward with Fire brick distress ink.  Next I stamped my two love cups in the middle with Tuxedo Black Memento.  I also stamped these two cups on two different patterned papers, fussy cut and adhered.  Next I outlined them with R20 Copic Marker.  I then stamped the sentiment, layered it with more patterned paper, adhered at an angle, and embellished! woo hoo!

I'm so glad I was able to join along with this blog hop, and I hope you are having fun and being inspired by all of the fabulous entries thus far!

I'm also entering this into the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge as my card was based on their newest sketch!  And in Virginia's View Challenge: Distressing

Love You to the Moon...

This is one of my favorite sentiments, mainly because I've said it to my little man for as long as I can remember, as I'm sure many of you have said it too.  And I absolutely love it in the sweet font that is so characteristic of The Alley Way Stamp Sets.  Today I am sharing this sweet card here and on The Alley Way Stamps Blog using the new More Than Words Stamp Set.

My background was created with a stencil, embossing paste and then spray mists in two colors.  The little moon from the Ta-Da Stamp Set was stamped separately in Delicata Gold and raised with foam adhesive.  I then stamped my sentiment up the side.

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Catered Crop: Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Monday Challenge Transportation  I figure traveling to the moon and back counts hehehe! :)

Thanks for stopping by, and because I like to enable did you know that The Alley Way Stamps has 20% off your purchase of stamps until December 12th?!  One more day left to take advantage of this deal!!!

Anywho, that's ok I am also able to enter this into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Bling!  As my pretty card has glitter white diagonals, and sequins! bling!   And here is what I've created:

I am also entering this into the S.W.A.T Extra Challenge: Christmas Cards  and into the Virginia's View: Distressing ( I used distress stains on cardstock before die cutting my deer)
