Cherry Green Now Available at CC

Hello!  Crafters Companion has launched a new stamp line and it is now available called Cherry Green!  I've created a clean and simple card with one of the new stamp sets to share with you for today...

For this card I used the peacock feathers from the Fancy Feathers set.  I love the whispy look of the feathers in this set, and they are quick to color in with Spectrum Noir Markers: BT4, BT5, BT9.  My background was created with a mix of Aqua Markers in Slate, Sepia, and Charcoal.  For a touch of shine I used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen in Blue Topaz.  I also added a strip of Luxury Gold Cardstock down one side.  I hope you'll get a chance to check them all out on the Crafter's Companion Website!

Hello Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers

Hi!  It's Monday, and so far it's been a rather productive day for me, so yay!  I hope your week is starting off well too!  Right now I'm popping in to share a quick and easy card that I've created with Spectrum Noir's Aqua Markers and Crafters Companion's Colorista Aqua Stamp Set: Best Wishes.

To create this card I started by stamping my images with Versafine Ink.  Next, I scribbled on a craft mat with my Aqua Marker in Prussian Blue.  To pick up the color I used my Crafters Companion Waterbrush Pens.  For the butterfly I used the fine nib side of my Aqua Markers and colored the wings in (Begonia, Rose Red, Red Violet, Navy, Teal, Jasmine, Sunflower, and Bud Green).  I used my Waterbrush Pens again to pull the colors out.  Finally, I layered my stamped and colored panel onto Crafters Companion Luxury Cardstock in Navy and Pale Dogwood. (Their luxury cardstock is seriously some of my favorite cardstock to work with!)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have an amazing rest of the day!

MarkerPOP Challenge #129

Hi friends!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far, we've had fun with soccer and cheerleading along with some nice weather.  Today I'm popping in with a little bit of crafty fun with the new MarkerPOP Challenge #129...

And here is what I've created based on this color palette...

To create this card I've used the new My Favorite Things More Monsters.  I LOVE the cute little faces on them! I then used the same colors as I used on my monsters in my galactic background with Gansai Tambi Watercolors and Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment, and created a "gold planet" for my little monsters to stand on.

I can't wait to see what you'll create for this new challenge!  Don't forget to check out the awesome prize up for grabs too!

A Muse Studio Day 3 Sneak Peek

It's Day 3, which means only one more sleep until all of these new goodies are available for you to purchase in the A Muse Studio Store! Woot Woot!  Today's set is called Eat, Drink, and Be Thankful, and it consists of two large script sentiments that definitely make a sentiment.  You can also add some sweet fall images from the set to any project you are creating.  Here's a peek at something I've created with this set...

I love how this sentiment looks cut and in the center of my shaker.  For the inside of my shaker I used Orange Sequins and French Roast Glitter.  I stamped several of the leaf images with the Pigment Ink in Papaya, Orange, and French Roast.  I also added two toned stamping by stamping the image first with a light ink and went over part of it with a darker ink.
Stop by the A Muse Studio Blog for a chance to win this new set for yourself and for more peeks!

A Muse Studio Day 2: Fierce

Woo hoo!  It's Day #2 of the A Muse Studio Release and this set is Ah-MAZING!  I Love, love, love the sentiments in this set!  So fun, sassy, and or uplifting!  I decided to make myself a little desk reminder our of a paper frame, the Fierce Set and the Summer Blooms Set...

Isn't it awesome?!  LOVE it!  I've used a fun mix of papers in Grape, Papaya, and Shell.  I also used white to stamp and color in the flowers.  I then added some clear sparkle.  My layers were die cut with Postage Stamps Dies.  There needed to be a little more sparkle so I busted out some of the Bubblegum Sequins and added them to the sides of the flowers on the frame.

Make sure you stop by the A Muse Studio Blog for more inspiration, peeks, and a giveaway!

Make A Splash With CAS-ual Fridays!

Hello, hello!  Are you still swooning over the new release by CAS-ual Fridays? Cause I still am!  I LOVED all of the silhouette images!  And since it is my turn to share something on their blog today I'm playing with the super cute Mermaids Set.  Check it out...

Isn't she so much fun?!  I just love the way the Mermaids are holding their hands so it is easy to mix and match what they are holding from the set.  To create my card I started with a stencil and some Nuvo Glimmer Pastes.  While that was drying I heat embossed this cutie and the starfish with Gold Embossing Powder.  I wanted there to be a look of what behind her so I went over her with Distress Ink in Salty Ocean.  She was then fussy cut and set to the side.  I went back to my stenciled panel and added distress ink in the same color.  Next, I stamped and heat embossed the bottom half of my sentiment, for added interested and applied the same distress ink for a third time.  Finally, I popped everything up with foam adhesive and adhered clear sequins as a finishing touch.

And if this card just has you seeing stars (or glitter in this case lol) make sure you head over to their store and pick this set up for yourself! Plus I have a coupon code you can use!!!

CASual Friday's Release Day!!!

The name of the set I get to share with you today just makes my day!  The Puffy Heart Love is as cute as it sounds... it is filled with nice large sentiments in a sweet swirling font.  Take a peek at what I've created with this set...

To create this card I started by trimming some patterned paper and adhering it to the front of the card.  I die cut a tag from the Tag Buddies Fri-Die Set and began stamping this sweet sentiment and hearts.  I used a gradient ink for added interest.  I then tied the tag off, adhered it with foam adhesive, and added a few wood veneers.

I hope you've enjoyed all of the peeks this week, and I'm so excited that you can now get these bad boys for yourself!  Head over to the CAS-ual Friday Store and use my code for 15% off your total purchase!

CASual Friday's Sneak Peek Day 3

Ok you guys this release just keeps getting better, because wait until you see the cuties I get to share with you today!!!  This new Mermaid set by CAS-ual Fridays is so unique, sweet and fun to play with...

As this card is all about water, I couldn't help but add watercoloring to the card itself!  For the mermaid and the shell in her hand I started by stamping and heat embossing her with a sticky embossing powder and adding a layer of shiny silver foil.  While the foil did not go on smoothly I liked the texture it gave the image for my underwater scene and decided to stick with it.  The shells and sentiment were stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. Next, I added layers of watercolor from my Gansai Tambi Watercolor Set. After the panel was dry I distressed the edges before adhering it with foam adhesive to the front of my card panel.  The clear sequins with the perfect finishing touch.

Woot woot!  I'm back today with a second peek at the new goodies coming to CAS-ual Fridays.  And look out cuteness... this set with have you dancing for joy (literally!).

For this card I went totally girly and stamped these sweet images from the Tutu Stamp Set with light pastel colors.  And to finish it off I just had to pop it up on glittery pink cardstock!  Of course the sentiments to this set couldn't be anymore perfect, and I love that these girls are silhouette images.

Now make sure you stop by the CAS-ual Friday Blog for more inspiration, peeks at the new set and a chance to win!

CAS-ual Friday's Sneak Peek Day 1

Hello!  Today's sneak peek for CAS-ual Friday's new release starts off with a real bang if you ask me.  The stamp set we are sharing today is called Flower Case, and I love the sweet letters that are the perfect size for personalizing just about anything!  Take a peek at what I've created...

Isn't it so much fun!  I love that I was able to add my daugter's name right to the front of this card for her. (Not to mention how excited she was when she saw her name on it.)  To create this card I started by stamping the letters in Versamark Ink and embossing them with a glittery purple embossing powder.  Next, I added a rainbow of colors with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush.  I also painted a shadow effect with a grey color around the letters to really help the stand off the panel.  After this had dried I stamped the rest of my sentiment from the Sunbeams Stamp set and adhered it to some colored cardstock.

Make sure you hop over to the CAS-ual Friday Blog for more inspiration, peeks and a giveaway!
